Self-catering holiday gite for two, near a golf course, lake and national forest. Manche / Calvados border in Southern Normandy
Welcome to our little gite in Champ-du-Boult
You will love this pretty little cottage for two. It is situated in the village of Champ-du-Boult in the rolling, green 'bocage' countryside on the southern Calvados/Manche border. The 'bocage' is a region of fields with high-hedged little lanes. Set in a small hamlet, you'll be rural but not isolated. You can buy bread and groceries at the Bar/Tabac in Champ-du-Boult a mile away. At nearby Gathemo you will find an excellent boulangerie/bakery and also another very popular bar/restaurant/grocery. Other larger towns and villages are not far away. You'll also find great restaurants and markets to sample.
The property has its own private entrance, outdoor space and enclosed parking. Relaxing will come easily to you. The air is so fresh and clean and the stars so bright. There are outdoor chairs and recliners, and a barbecue for you to use. You'll be be thrilled by the almost empty roads, and the litter-free and beautifully trimmed verges in the area.
By paying in sterling for the accommodation and a ferry crossing, fuel for the car (cheaper than in the UK) and a range of supermarkets such as Carrefour, SuperU, Leclerc, Aldi and Lidl it means that your holiday does not have to be very expensive. If you travel with Brittany Ferries we are able to help you with discount on their prices. Please enquire.
Sorry, we do not accept pets. No smoking in the cottage.
